Our Costa Rica adventure, part dos …

Travel log: Tamarindo, Costa Rica, October 2005, part two

My first true family vacation in Lord knows how many years, the five of us (my two bros, mom, dad and me), plus the newbie to the gang, my hubbie Alex, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Ricky, Grandma and Grandpa ventured down to Costa Rica searching for adventure – and, boy, did we find some.

As promised – part two!

1. We rented four-wheelers and trekked along the Costa Rican coast.
2. We zipped-lined high above the rainforest. At one point, I flew upside down (on purpose).
3. Over looking the moon-reflecting Pacific, we smoked Cubans and ate loads of ceviche and just-caught, raw tuna – only the good stuff for us.
