Our Seattle trip: part 3 …

TRAVEL LOG: SEATTLE, MAY 2010, part three

Here’s the last installment of our 2010 trip to Seattle.

Seattle has a deal that if you visit the Seattle Art Museum, you can see the Asian art museum for free. So, that is exactly what we did. It was a cool little museum, but the grounds around it, which was filled with blooming flowers, tall trees, koi ponds and reflecting ponds, were even more appealing to me.

Our final full day there, Alex and I ventured out east of the city to the 270-foot Snoqualmie Falls. Nearby were two sleepy little mountain towns that we drove through. I sometimes found more pleasure in these little towns that I have in some of the big cities that we’ve explored over the years. These, however, were in a deep snooze and we couldn’t wake them up. But it was still good to see and reminiscent of some of our other adventures.
